Weekend Therapist / Part-Time

Position: As a Weekend Therapist at The Edge Treatment Center, you will play a pivotal role in our therapeutic environment, contributing to our clients' growth and well-being. We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive community-focused environment.
We are an excellent fit for a remote or private practice Therapist that is looking for additional work that is fun, in a group setting, and off of the computer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct therapy sessions for clients individually and in group settings, facilitating positive changes in their lives.
- Attend and actively participate in all weekend activities planned by the Weekend Activities team, ranging from cultural outings to physical activities and AA meetings.
- Monitor and track clients' progress and growth throughout the program, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting by Monday deadlines.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, staff, and other stakeholders, adhering to ethical standards and boundaries.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with mental health and/or substance treatment industry, including 12-step terminology.
- Experience with KIPU Systems Client Management Software is a plus.
Qualifications:
- Licensed as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC in the state of California.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Negative TB test results within the past year.
- Ability to pass random drug screenings.
Salary:
- Licensed Therapist: $35.00 to $50.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
